Bharat Tex, the Global textile event in India, invites you to embark on a vibrant and creative journey through the world of Indian textiles.

Sustainable fashion isn’t just a trend; it’s a global movement.

In harmony with the global call for sustainability in textiles and as an extension of sustainability at Bharat Tex 2024; Ministry of Textiles is organizing the “Bharat Tex Eco Style Selfie Contest” on MyGov platform. This contest invites you to become a global advocate for sustainable fashion, using your selfie as a canvas to showcase eco-friendly textiles, recycled garments, ethical choices, and the beauty of sustainability in the textile industry. Show off your eco-conscious fashion choices and share how you make sustainability a statement with your style.

Theme: Sustainable Fashion for a Global Future.

Your selfie should capture how your sustainable fashion choices contribute to a more sustainable textile industry, aligning with the global commitment to eco-conscious practice – whether it’s organic fabrics, upcycled garments/ home fashion, or any other sustainable elements, let your style speak for eco-conscious fashion.

Eligibility

The competition is open to all Indian Citizens.

Technical Parameters

•  1 selfie to be submitted.
• Jpg format only (not exceeding 4 MB).
• Along with photo, participants are requested to write a brief description of the photo and the innovative sustainable/eco-friendly element in the selfie.
• The file should be of high resolution – at least 1000 pixels per inch at 100% size. The file should look clean (not pixilated or bit-mapped) when viewed on- screen at 100%. Entries should not be submitted in compressed or self- extracting formats.

Gratifications

• Top 5 winners will get a cash prize of Rs. 5000/- each.
• Top 10 selfies will be reposted on Bharat Tex Official Social Media Pages.
