NIELIT Gorakhpur, formerly known as DOEACC Society, Gorakhpur Centre, is an Autonomous Scientific Society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. It focuses on training, consultancy, design, and product development for small-scale IT industries. The center also conducts programs to promote entrepreneurship.

About the Course:

The Cyber Security Awareness Program by NIELIT Gorakhpur is a 5-day online course aiming to educate students on safe internet practices. The program covers topics such as cyber security introduction, common threats and attacks, social engineering scams, social networking security, e-payment security, and more.

 Eligibility:

Open to students from Class 8th onwards in schools, colleges, and universities.

Course Content:

- Cyber Security Introduction, Internet Ethics, Common Attacks

- Identity Theft, Psychological Tricks, Social Media Frauds

- Social Engineering Scams, Password Threats, Online Trolling

- Social Networking Security, Safe Use of Social Networks

- E-Payment Frauds, ATM Fraud, Internet Banking Frauds

- Duration: 5 Days/10 Hours Online Course (2 hours daily)

- Batch 1: Starts from January 15, 2024 (11:00 AM to 01:00 PM)

- Batch 2: Starts from January 29, 2024 (03:30 PM to 05:30 PM)
