Interview for the Award of Junior Research Fellowship

Overview: 

Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), Delhi, a Institute of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), have Department of Dental Research and Implantology, is the sole dental centre of DRDO provide comprehensive and quality dental treatment to DRDO personnel and their dependents, besides they are being engaged in active research. Ever since its inception in 1991, the department is working in an areas of dental implants, oral hygiene formulations, surgical adhesives, and clinical and pre-clinical experiments.

Applications are invited from Young and Meritorious Indian nationals, who desired to pursue research in this field and like attending dental clinics.

Fellowship/ Vacancy: JRF-Dental Science (01)

Essential Qualification: First Class in Bachelor in Dental Science (BDS)

Desirable Qualification: The applicant should have at least one publication in an SCI journal and having valid DCI registration for the year.

Age Limit: 28 years on the date of interview. (Relaxation to SC/ST (5 yrs) and OBC (3 yrs) as per Govt rules.

Stipend (Monthly): Rs. 31,000+HRA as per DRDO rules

Tenure: Tenure of JRF is maximum Five Years. Candidate will work initially for first two years as JRF and will subsequently be elevated as SRF for the remaining three years, subject to satisfactory performance to be assessed annually as per DRDO rules.

General Instructions:

1. Apply: Candidate can apply online on the link given at ‘What’s New’ column at https://www.drdo.gov.in/whats-new and submit prior information before coming for interview.
2. A copy of submitted application form should be downloaded from candidate’s email & paste a passport size photo on it and brought along with complete bio-data on the date of interview.
3. Reporting time is 0830h-1000h on the date of Interview, at Main Gate Reception, INMAS, Timarpur, Delhi. Latecomers will not be allowed at any cost.
4. A written test to assess subject knowledge of a candidate may be conducted from 1030-1130 hrs (depending on the number of candidates appearing on the date of interview) and only those candidates who will clear the written test shall be interviewed on the same day.
5. Candidates will be essentially required to produce original certificates/ testimonials w.r.t. qualifications & experience, for verification at the time of interview.
6. Candidates presently employed in Government Departments/Autonomous Bodies/ PSU’s will be required to produce NOC at the time of interview.
7. How to reach the venue of Interview:
   INMAS is located 1 km from Vishwavidyalaya Metro station, Delhi towards
   Timarpur/Opposite to University of Delhi North Campus & Nearest Land Mark is SBI ATM SSPL
   Branch, Timarpur, Delhi-110054.
8. Please note: Electronic items like smart/mobile phones/pendrive/laptop/CD-ROM etc. are not allowed inside INMAS premises.
9. Antecedents of candidate will be verified again at the time of joining, if selected.
10. Admission shall not be claimed by any candidate as a matter of right. The admission shall be entirely at the discretion of the Selection Committee of the Laboratory, which may refuse to admit any candidate without assigning any reason thereof.
11. It may be noted that offer of fellowship does not confer on fellows any right of absorption in DRDO.
12. Number of vacancies may change as per organizational requirement.
13. No TA/DA shall be paid for joining/appearing for the interview.
