1. Interactive Comics & Sequential Art

This 1-year diploma focuses on visual storytelling, character design, comic creation and sequential narrative techniques.

Eligibility: Applicants must have completed Class 12 and demonstrate creative aptitude. Selection includes a scholarship assessment and portfolio review.

Career Pathways: Comic Artist, Storyboard Artist, Character Designer, Concept Artist, Graphic Novelist and Visual Development Artist.

2. Visual Effects Mastery

This 1-year diploma focuses on the VFX production pipeline, compositing, CGI integration and cinematic visual effects using industry-standard workflows.

Eligibility: Applicants must have completed Class 12 and demonstrate creative aptitude. Selection includes a scholarship assessment and portfolio review.

Career Pathways: VFX Artist, Compositor, Roto Artist, Matchmove Artist, FX Artist, CG Generalist and Production Coordinator.

3. Virtual Art Department Content Creation

This 6-month certificate programme focuses on real-time virtual production, digital environment creation and content development for film, television and immersive media.

Eligibility: Applicants must have completed Class 12 and demonstrate creative aptitude. Selection includes a scholarship assessment and portfolio review.

Career Pathways: Virtual Production Artist, Environment Artist, Unreal Engine Artist, LED Volume Content Creator and Virtual Production Assistant.

4. Art of Character Animation

This 6-month certificate programme covers character animation, acting for animation, movement, performance and storytelling using industry-standard tools and workflows.

Eligibility: Applicants must have completed Class 12 and demonstrate creative aptitude. Selection includes a scholarship assessment and portfolio review.

Career Pathways: Character Animator, 2D/3D Animator, Animation Artist, Layout Artist, Animation Production Assistant and Motion Graphics Artist.

5. Media Technology Workflows

This 6-month certificate programme focuses on media production workflows, asset management, post-production pipelines and collaborative content delivery.

Eligibility: Applicants must have completed Class 12 and demonstrate creative aptitude. Selection includes a scholarship assessment and portfolio review.

Career Pathways: Media Workflow Coordinator, Post-Production Coordinator, Content Operations Executive, Media Asset Manager and Production Assistant.

6. E-Sports & Gaming Management

This 6-month certificate programme focuses on business, operations and event management skills for esports ecosystems, tournaments and gaming communities.

Eligibility: Applicants must have completed Class 12 and demonstrate creative aptitude. Selection includes a scholarship assessment and portfolio review.

Career Pathways: Esports Manager, Tournament Operations Executive, Community Manager, Gaming Event Producer, Team Coordinator and Business Development Executive.

Selection Process

The scholarship selection process consists of the following stages:

Stage 1: Application & Eligibility Review

Completed applications are reviewed for academic requirements, scholarship eligibility and programme-specific submissions.

Only eligible and complete applications move to the next stage.

Stage 2: Online MCQ

Eligible candidates are invited to take an online multiple-choice assessment. Performance in this stage contributes to the shortlist for the next round.

Stage 3: Portfolio / Course Assessment

Shortlisted candidates undergo a programme-specific evaluation. Depending on the programme, this may include a portfolio review and/or course-specific assessment.

Stage 4: Personal Interview

Selected candidates are invited for a personal interview with the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies faculty and an Indian Institute of Creative Technologies–Netflix Scholarship Panel member.

Stage 5: Final Selection & Scholarship Offer

Scores from the approved selection stages are combined to determine the final ranking and admission decision.

Candidates may receive a scholarship offer, waitlist status or unsuccessful application notification.
