TERAVARNA Foundation is inviting artists of all ages worldwide to enter the EARTHBOUND Nature Art Competition 2026. Painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital art and other visual-art forms are accepted. There is no entry fee, and submissions close on October 5, 2026.

About the Competition

EARTHBOUND: Art Inspired by Nature is a free international juried art competition exploring nature in all its forms.

Artists may interpret nature as a home, memory, material, subject, metaphor or source of inspiration. Entries may celebrate the natural world, examine human interaction with the environment or present personal perspectives on life on Earth.

The competition accepts painting, drawing and illustration, sculpture, photography, mixed media, digital art, printmaking, textile and fibre art, ceramics, installations and other visual-art forms.

Theme

The theme of the competition is EARTHBOUND: Art Inspired by Nature.

Artists are free to interpret the natural world through their preferred subject, style and visual medium.

Eligibility Criteria

• The competition is open to artists worldwide.
• Artists of all nationalities, locations and experience levels may participate.
• Participants of all ages are eligible.
• Artists below 18 years may enter with parental or guardian consent, wherever required.
• Only human-created artwork will be accepted.
• AI-generated and AI-assisted artwork is not eligible.
• Each participant may submit only one entry.
• Duplicate entries will be disqualified.

Entry Fee

There is no entry fee or purchase requirement for participating in the competition.

Awards and Benefits

The competition page indicates that more than 15 winners will be declared, including three top winners.

Winning artists will receive:

• An official certificate of recognition.
• A spotlight on the TERAVARNA Foundation website and blog.
• A feature in TERAVARNA email newsletters.
• Promotion across TERAVARNA social-media platforms.
• An opportunity to be shortlisted for the annual “Winner of the Winners” recognition.
• Publication of their names through press releases.

The three top winners will also receive dedicated interview features on the TERAVARNA Foundation website and Instagram.

No cash prize has been announced.

How to Register?

Interested artists can submit one artwork through the EARTHBOUND Nature Art Competition submission form.

Applicants must complete the online form, provide the required details and upload a clear image of their artwork before the deadline.

Registration Deadline

The last date to submit an entry is October 5, 2026.

Submission Guidelines

• Only one entry may be submitted by each artist.
• The artwork should respond to the EARTHBOUND nature theme.
• All styles and visual-art mediums are welcome.
• AI-generated or AI-assisted artwork will not be accepted.
• Upload an image of the artwork in JPG or JPEG format.
• A file size of approximately 2 MB is preferred.
• The uploaded file must not exceed 5 MB.
• The image should show the complete artwork without unnecessary cropping.
• Do not add borders, frames or other elements to the submitted image.
• The image must be clear, sharp and properly focused.
• Physical artwork should preferably be photographed straight-on.
• Duplicate submissions will lead to disqualification.
