Submissions are invited for the Yoga My Pride Photography Contest 2026 organized by the Ministry of AYUSH. The contest is open to all participants across India.

About Ministry of AYUSH

The Ministry of AYUSH promotes traditional systems of medicine including Yoga, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy. The ministry organizes various initiatives to promote yoga awareness, especially ahead of the International Day of Yoga 2026.

About the Contest

The Yoga My Pride Photography Contest 2026 aims to raise awareness about yoga and encourage participation in International Day of Yoga 2026. The contest is being conducted nationwide through the MyGov.

Participants must submit a photograph performing a yoga pose along with a short slogan (maximum 15 words) reflecting the theme.

Contest Categories

The contest will be organized in six categories:

Female Categories

  • Youth (Below 18 years)
  • Adults (18 years and above)
  • Yoga Professionals

Male Categories

  • Youth (Below 18 years)
  • Adults (18 years and above)
  • Yoga Professionals

Contest Rules

  • The photograph must feature the participant performing a yoga pose
  • A short slogan (maximum 15 words) must be included
  • Only one entry per participant is allowed
  • Participants can apply in only one category
  • Entries must be original
  • File format allowed: JPEG/PNG/SVG
  • Maximum file size: 2MB
  • Offensive or inappropriate content will be rejected
  • Entries must be submitted through the official portal only

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded in each category:

  • First Prize: ₹75,000
  • Second Prize: ₹50,000
  • Third Prize: ₹25,000

Eligibility

The contest is open to all individuals across India. Participants below 18 years must obtain parental consent.

Judgement Criteria

Entries will be judged based on:

  • Correctness of yoga pose
  • Relevance of slogan
  • Photo quality
  • Creativity and expression
  • Background

Selection Process

The selection will be conducted in two stages:

  • Shortlisting of entries
  • Final evaluation by yoga experts

Growing up in a small village, I often faced exclusion from social activities and unequal access to education and social schemes just because I came from an underprivileged background. That experience left a deep mark on me.. a feeling of being unseen. I promised myself that no other young person should feel that way again. To change this, I started Contest 360, an online platform connecting youth to opportunities they usually miss, which has been visited over 8.3 million times.
