About I4C

The Indian Cybercrime Coordination Centre, commonly known as I4C, is an initiative of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

It works to improve coordination among law-enforcement agencies and strengthen India’s response to cybercrime. Cyber Dost is its public-awareness initiative for educating citizens about cyber threats and responsible online behaviour.

About the Contest

The Cyber Safe Yuva Reel Contest 2026 invites participants to create a short, informative and engaging reel that helps citizens recognise cybercrime warning signs, understand how online scams operate and learn what action to take when confronted with suspicious digital activity.

The contest is officially listed on MyGov as the Cyber Safe Yuva Reel Contest 2026, while its description also refers to it as the Cyber Suraksha Reel Making Competition 2026. Both names refer to the same competition.

Every reel should promote responsible online behaviour and communicate the message:

“Stop. Think. Then Take Action.”

Eligibility Criteria

The competition is open to:

  • Citizens of India;
  • Participants who are at least 18 years old on the date of submission; and
  • Individuals possessing an accurate and updated MyGov profile.

Employees, consultants and people directly associated with the organisation or administration of the competition—including their immediate family members—may be restricted from competing for awards.
