The active, multifaceted approach of women's empowerment which is assist to ameliorate of socio- economic growth and living standard of rural people and so on. Empowerment of women is significant issues thought out the world, particularly in the third world countries like Bangladesh. Women have been facing several sorts of trouble socially, economically, psychologically etc. which are barriers to development of the socio-economic growth and elevation of country as well as well being of the countryside people. Without empowerment of women worlds poverty and financial upliftment of the country are out of question. Improvement activities were localized where women are deprived their basic needs such as fundamental education, proper sanitation, key health care and optimum nutrition. In the very recent past, society were looked to the women as a household worker and minor contributor of the . society. Quiet a few house hold works and taking care of their family was a primary responsibility. Therefore, several governmental and non-governmental organizations are open the door for women so that they can make independent themselves and taking any decision frankly as men. Social forestry programme is one of them. Now women are actively participate in social forestry activities like men. They can generate money as well as setting up and putting processes that helps to uses of forest resources, to benefit themselves, their families and current and upcoming generation. By the empowerment of women, specially in forestry sector, forest improvement can be emphasized which are helps to diminishing the gender inequality problem, better administration of forest resources, enhancement of the macro and micro forest goods. However, defining .empowerment of women helps us to understand worlds global equal rights between men and women in a common language. But good is that, after participating the social forestry programme decision making rights are not relay on householders alone rather women can also take decision about their family and themselves. Bit by bit its shifted from men to women ands that helps to open the door for women upliftment. In the prior, women are restricted to outside work in rural Bangladesh due to the problems of household works particularly assigned to them. But now, the participated women having no problem for them to go with both household works and social forestry activities. It is quiet clear that the economical solvency changes the sociocultural attitudes of a family. Women will be helping hand for the family when they become earning member. In this regard social forestry practice would be a vital tool for the women to work with which will ultimately help improving the rural socioeconomic condition and standard of living.

I'm Wasek Faysal Abir. I'm 23 years old and i'm a student of Forestry and Wood Technology Discipline, Khulna University. I love to bits of forest and quiet concern about this. Currently, i'm studying MSc in Khulna University at same discipline but in Participatory group.
