About Youth as Implementers

Youth as Implementers is a global effort by GYBN to understand what young people are doing to conserve, restore and sustainably use biodiversity.

Ahead of COP17, GYBN wants governments and other stakeholders to see young people not only as beneficiaries or participants, but also as active contributors to biodiversity goals.

Young people can share actions regardless of whether their work is small, local or large-scale.

Who Can Participate?

Young people aged up to 35 years can contribute.

You may consider responding if you are involved in biodiversity-related activities such as:

Protecting or restoring local ecosystems
Citizen science or biodiversity research
Environmental awareness and education
Pollinator or species conservation
Community-based environmental activities
