Eco-Leaders Training Program 2026: 3-Day Climate & Green Business Training with Seed Funding Support

Led by The Earth Society and funded by the British High Commission, this program is designed to equip young climate leaders with practical knowledge, leadership skills, and project support to turn ideas into action.

🌱 About the Eco-Leaders Training Program

The Eco-Leaders Training Program is a three-day intensive capacity-building initiative focused on climate action, green innovation, and sustainable development. The program brings together youth groups working on environmental solutions and helps them strengthen their ideas through structured training and mentorship.

Participants will receive expert-led sessions on climate change, just transition, renewable energy, leadership development, and project management. On the final day, teams will design actionable climate projects addressing local environmental challenges.

Selected projects will receive seed funding and mentorship based on innovation, feasibility, and community impact.

🔍 What Will Participants Learn?

During the three-day program, participants will be trained on:

• Climate change and environmental sustainability
• Just transition and renewable energy solutions
• Leadership development and teamwork
• Project planning and management
• Green business innovation and circular economy models

Teams will then apply this learning to design projects focused on pollution reduction, smart agriculture, renewable energy adoption, circular economy solutions, and community-based climate action.

👥 Who Can Apply?

The program is open to youth-led teams and organisations that meet the following criteria:

Applicants must be 18 to 35 years old and apply as a group of four members. Each group must include at least two female members, ensuring strong gender representation.

Youth groups working on climate action, environmental protection, green businesses, or sustainability initiatives are eligible to apply.

Women, indigenous people, persons with disabilities, and individuals from climate-vulnerable regions are strongly encouraged to apply.
