DESCRIPTION:
The National Institute of Mental Health plans to issue a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) to invite applications for developing, optimising, and testing innovative theory-based strategies to integrate mental and physical health care to be adopted by low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). This Notice is being sent to provide potential candidates enough time to form meaningful collaborations and respond to project requests. The call for applications is expected to be released in Winter 2021, with a deadline of Spring 2022. The activity code R01 will be used in this FOA. Clinical studies will be available at the discretion of the researchers. The proposed FOA is described in detail below.
