Mechanical Engineering Design Internship

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement the entire equipment process through the conceptual, Development, manufacturing, and installation phases.

• Develop manufacturing drawings in accordance with applicable standards..

• Interface with outside vendors for component selection, manufacturing, and assembly.

• Duties include: basic engineering, component details for manufacture, assembly and/or arrangement drawings, proposal engineering, creation of concepts, Developments, layouts and pricing as well as verifying basic and detailed engineering for capacities and dimensional accuracy.

• Analysis of mechanical systems

• Power requirements (mechanical)

• Bearing loading and life calculations

• Time study (machine cycle time)

• Working closely with customers and vendors.
